A little slow to get going buy, gets better and better as the story goes on.

Although entertaining enough, the plot moved very slowly. This physician spent more time checking out his staff, being in awe of the president and puttering around then trying to figure out what was going on. What physician doesn't immediately test the blood he collects from a patient or review the medical data that the previous physician collected? There are many more realistic ways to "lose" the presidents blood. Also the relationship between Gabe and Allison felt contrived and forced. The characters motive for poisoning the president was obvious and unsatisfying. The character himself was also obvious. Overall, the book is entertaining as a way to pass time on a flight but wouldn't recommend it to others.

Another great book by author Michael Palmer that I couldn't put down.
