  • Your body tells the truth

Eckhart Tolle said something to the effect of, "If there is disagreement between the mind and the body, look to the body to find the truth." This was used as a philosophy textbook in the last philosophy class I took in college, which I think was "Ethics". My instructor was a hot, young gal working on her doctorate in some eastern flavor of philosophy or other. I'm a man, and, being 37 at that time, was the Class Elder. Older than any of the students and even had a few years on my teacher. This book is about intuition, as the title suggests, which is a way of 'just knowing'; of feeling it in your gut. It is a way of knowing which is at least as valid as logic, but has nothing at all to do with logic. With logic one must be methodical and clearly show the mental path from A to B. With intuition one still starts at A and ends at B, but it's a direct leap and there is no proving it. It's a way of 'knowing', after all, not a way of proving whatever knowledge to a sceptic. This book is taken from a adapted from talks by Osho, which helps with the intuition part. I don't know about you, but truth comes out of my mouth. When I run it past the mind, think about it and craft some sort of story is where the BS creeps in. Good book. My guess is you could get it at a used BS for about 99 cents.
