I love The Troll. He and Scot are so fun to see together. They should work together going forward. However, we do have too many characters in this book. It is hard to keep track. It was fast moving and the two stories did finally link up. Of course with a cliff hanger at the end. Oh well.

Scot Harvath is my favorite literary character. This one has twists and turns that I did not see coming. I love how the two seemingly separate stories come together at the end. So well done.

Reading these in order and this one was the slowest moving yet. It ended well however and I am looking forward to the next one.

Kinda slow up until about chapter 50. I felt there were too many character s involved in this one and the ending after chapter 74 was way too quick. You gotta draw that out and tie up loose ends, not just shove it all into the epilogue. Not a fan of that. The epilogue though was fantastic and left me on a great cliffhanger! Just dump all that into a few more chapters Thor! Good book, not the greatest, but definitely a step up from The Apostle.

I've read all of Brad's books in order and can't wait to begin the next. Fantastic ride every time!

I've read all of this series of books-in order- obviously including this one. While the others were real page turners and brought the reader in, this addition left much to be desired. The other is seemingly trying too hard to make it work and create a 'sexy' storyline. It doesn't align with the previous stories and is a shame to see that this is what the series has become. Would not recommend by any means and am quite nervous for the next book...

Kept me intrigued and on edge until the end! I will definitely read more by Brad Thor!
