Stayed up all night to Finnish reading this. A story that tears the reader’s heart in to pieces. It is very frustrating to think millions in Afghanistan are facing such inhumane situations.

Had to read this book for school and my god, did it surpass all my expectations. All at once, a fascinating and depth filled character study and a gut wrenching tale of a country destroyed by war. This book is heartbreaking, thought provoking, frustrating, but overwhelmingly powerful all the way through. Just….wow. I have so much I can say about this book. I just can’t believe how good this is.
