Book Synopsis

The Women's Murder Club returns for another thrilling crime investigation. Will their skills be enough to take down a brutal madman?
A brutal madman sprays bullets into a crowd of children leaving a San Francisco church. Miraculously-or was it intentionally?-only one person dies. Then an elderly black woman is hung. Police homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer senses a connection and together with medical examiner Claire, assistant D. A. Jill, and Chronicle reporter Cindy, finds a link that sends a chill through the entire nation. This killer's motives are unspeakable.
In this "inventive" installment of the Women's Murder Club, James Patterson proves once again why he is the #1 master of the murder mystery (Sunday Times).

This is a great story from beginning to end. The main character holds your emotions in her hands as the story unfolds. I like it when towards the end I think I’ve figured out who the “killer” is and I’m wrong ! Good gal triumphs over bad guy , just like it should.

Wow! James Patterson never ceases to amaze me...2nd Chance was phenomenal! After "1st To Die", I found myself wanting to be a part of the Women's Murder Club! Having completed "2nd Chance", I AM a part of this prestigious group of women because I am invested in their characters;-) Lindsay, Claire, Jill, and Cindy are the quintessential "girl group" that every red-blooded American woman should be a part of!!! Enough about the 'girls', though, this 2nd installment of the series is worth reading each book IN ORDER! My lust for MORE tempts me to read them at random, but definitely not after "2nd Chance". The plot TWIST, the actual SECOND CHANCE, the romance, drama, mystery...Classic James Patterson. Left me DYING to read the next. Thank you, thank you, and thank you for making me stay up later than normal, then regretting it the next morning, feel so good! Looks like this Lindsay Boxer fan will have the entire series either on my bookshelves, in my iPad or the NookHD! #HappyCamper #SoLongChimera

This book is so good. I read it in 2 days, because it's just a page turner. I just started reading James Patterson's books, because someone told me, they are really good, and they were not lying, this one is a real suspense, I guessed on a lot of people, and of course, I was right, but at the very end. Really good book.
