I bought this book together with a surgical knot kit to learn how to suture wounds. It may come in handy one day. I think learning all kinds of skills is an asset. Very useful book for everyone in case of need and emergency. The author uses very simple language so it is easy to follow and understand even for novices like me. The manual is very complete, describing first the equipment, the surgical knots then the sutures both basic and advanced. Ideal for those approaching the subject for the first time, before moving on to longer and more specific manuals. It's also great to have on hand to review for an exam.
