Just a prequel. A quick prequel, that is setting up the next series. Gargoyles! Which I dig. But the only gargoyles are the stone statues Ben is creating. Pamela is into art. Looking forward to this new realm. Especially the gargoyles.

An interesting start to a series. I like the characters as I usually do with Demelza Carlton’s writing. I presume that gargoyles will come into the picture more in future books. Curious to see how it all pans out.
