Book Synopsis

He's grumpy and I radiate sunshine. But I can't get him out of my head.
Colton Castle and I are nothing alike. He's a gruff police officer who only seems to see the worst in people. I'm the free spirit who believes there's good in everyone.

When there’s trouble in my neighborhood, he’s everywhere I turn, looking sexy in his uniform. I start to see a different side of him. He's protective and caring. And makes my heart race.

There's a problem: he's my sister's ex, which means he's completely off limits. He seems just as determined as me to ignore the connection. Yet the back-and-forth banter between us feels a lot like foreplay, and I’ve become addicted to the rush.

Except I want love and a family. Why am I drawn to someone who doesn't want the same thing?

Lucky Chance is the third book in the Second Chance Harbor series and is centered around Remi and Colton. Colton is the ex of Delilah, Remi’s sister, so Remi thinks he’s off-limits, but he sure gets her motor revving, lol. Colton is a sexy, grumpy policeman and he thinks he doesn’t deserve a happily ever after. You’ll learn why while reading this beautifully written book. When Remi’s store is broken in to, Remi and Colton start seeing each other more. Will they grow closer or just be friends? Colton isn’t the only one with doubts about getting a happily ever after. Remi is adopted and although her parents have shown their love, she still wonders why she wasn’t enough for her biological parents. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, but I will say you’ll love all the amazing characters in this book, many that we’ve already met from Lea Coll’s previous books. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
