I really enjoyed this book. Plowed through the first 200 pages or so the first day and finished not long after. The ending left a little to be desired but overall enjoyed the book. Currently reading the second in the series

Second half of the book was a page turner, but several of the plot lines seem to stem from controversial political and social issues. Overall though, a good book. Will be reading next book in the series.
David Baldacci does it again.

Starts a little slow but picks up speed faster than a Hummingbird’s wings.

Travis Devine is a former highly decorated Army Ranger. He left the military with a discharge of smoke and mirrors for not rendering aid to an officer who he knew murdered another officer who was his good friend. He was mysteriously contacted by a retired Army General who knows of his past and is threatening him with imprisonment if he dosen’t work for his covert organization. What ensues is an extremely fast paced read which weaves a tale of murder, financial crimes of mega proportions corrupt business men and politicians. My highest recommendation!!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Devine is a good enough character to try the second book of the series. But, Balducci must come up with a better plot. Bring back Montgomery & Speers, too!
