Questions lingering from the Pariah are answered in the Martyr, while new questions are posed. I only read before bed and this book had me up til the wee hours of the night. The perfect mix of believable characters, suspenseful action sequences, and supernatural intrigue makes this sequel even better than its predecessor. Can’t wait to read the third and final installment.
