What an amazing book about “TRUST” in our lives! I’ve read all the books in the Summer Lake Series and each one always makes the reader wanting to explore the next one. Donovan and Elle’s story is one of instant attraction, but Elle’s lack of “trust” in herself from previous occurrences, hinders her lack in judgement. She knows she shouldn’t go there and leave emotions alone. Her daughter, Skye, adores Donovan when she first meets him and instantly accepts him into her little world. Two words trigger sadness into their lives and never spoken. “Trust” and “Goodbye” make life unhappy. Past histories of Donovan and Elle hinders their relationship but also intensified their emotions and feelings they want to explore. A heartwarming story of family, friends, coworkers, and many Summer Lake residents, plus one precious little girl, makes for a beautiful story to enjoy!
