{ Chapter Four } There is so much to do, and think. The Hazel Egg, getting my role back like Queen Vlurin said, save the kingdom, and Locust, will i ever see her again? She’s a peasant! Plus we only talked for three minutes. He thought. Sprout, focus. I need to pack and get ready to get on the search. He thought. “Sprout!” The Queen said in excitement and held out her arm with a big brown bag in her grasp“Take this with you. Our most best wishes are in this, no, actually it’s a map on where the Hazel Egg might be, also, we put some; Water, rambutans, a spear and a spear sharpener.” The Queen said and smiled “Do us good, we’re depending on you.” She gave him a pat on the back then gave him the brown bag and guards one by one followed her through the hallway. “I just need to make a quick stop” He said to himself. He was walking through the hall and took a left. The lanterns hanging from the ceiling, the windows were covered in vegetation and flowers, the grey velvet floor, it all came to an end once he reached the end of the hallway and took a left. The peasant " zone. He thought and walked through searching for the dark green dragon with splotches of brown. Two of the peasants were sweeping and stopped to look at Sprout. “Hello, what may we do for you?” One of the female peasants asked expecting that was the reason he came over here. “Oh- i’m fine! i’m just searching for a friend here.” “Your friend is a- peasant? You’re in royal class! Why would you have a peasant friend?” The other female said and wrinkled her snout in disbelief. “Yes, her name is Locust, have you seen her?” Sprout asked. “i have” Said an old, big female dragon who came out of the shadows “I don’t mean to eavesdrop but, I am her mother.” “What do you need from my daughter? Why not pick a different peasant if you can’t find her? Why is she so… Special? She is nothing special.” The old dragon spat. “I- this is so much questions, just tell me where she is because i have no time to chit-chat.” Hissed Sprout. Locusts mother sighed annoyingly and pointed to a room. “There” The old dragon said and rolled her eyes. She mocked Sprout under her breath then went back to cleaning. Sprout opened the rotting tree door slowly and the room was covered in wood planks, there she was, Locust. Sprout noticed she was near a window sitting on a pillow reading a scroll that had; Dragons surrounding an hazel reddish brown egg- the prophecy cover! He thought “What’s that?” Sprout asked that made Locust jump “AH!” “Oh- it’s just you, hi Sprout! What brings you here?” Locust said in relief and smirked with worried eyes, she then put her scroll down gently and walked up to him. “I’m going on a quest,” He said “For the Hazel Egg” He said heroically with a stance. “WOW- i- Why are you telling ME about that?” Locust asked. “I can’t do this alone, we’re talking about an egg NOBODY has EVER found, and it’s been centuries.” Sprout said as if he regretted agreeing to searching for the egg. “So, why exactly are you telling me this?” Locust asked. She picked up the scroll and whispered “Are you asking me to come with?” Locust asked with a slight excited expression. Sprout whispered back“Yes, i can’t do this alone-“ “OF COURSE ILL COME! YIPEEE” Locust said and started hopping around squealing quietly. The door opened quickly “Why are you screaming?!” Asked Locust’s mother. “Mother, i’m going on a mission for the Hazel Egg” Next Chapter on Escaping Peril :D -ExhraDragonet

I love all wings of fire books but this one is tied for first (poison jungle) soooo Ya snuuudooo ——locust the hybrid

This book is amazing, and a great way to Finnish up the Wings Of Fire series! It gives a great conclusion and doesn’t lack action, but has all the needed slow bits as well. This book gets a 5/5 stars as it is really good.

I’m really annoyed that this is the “last book.” I am glad the graphics will come out. I really wish Tui would reach out and say they will do book 16. Edit: really? I thought it was. Walp time to wait forever for book 16 💀💀💀 HALP

This book was amazing (tho I’m sad it’s the last book of the series) Lizard/Freedoms death had me crying at the end so sad all in all it’s a 10 put of 10 a must read for all WOF fans
