Crazy, Wicked Love is the 3rd book in the Dark Knights at Bayside. The Wickeds are the best. Fiercely protect but are really teddys bears. This book is about Gunner and Syd. This is one of my most favorite storylines. I love a friends to lovers story. I couldn’t put it down. Thank you Melissa Foster for another great book!!

I love best friend to lovers stories, and add rescue dogs, big strong biker dudes and strong women, it keeps me turning the pages. Sidney and Gunner are walking a tightrope of lust for each other, unbeknownst to each other at first, to figure out if the risk is worth possibly losing a great friendship. The slow build up, the laughter, the tears, the fears, all the “feels”…..Melissa Foster has done it again, I have a new favorite book.

This is another good story about the Wicked’s. I can’t imagine two people bonding in the military like Sidney and Gunner did. Gunner has always promised to take care of “his buddy.” Once they got out of the military they started the animal rescue they had talked about in the military. Gunner even went so far of taking care of Sidney by buying a home for the two of them on the property where their animal rescue was located. Gunner was a good guy, but the women he had coming through the house at night was getting on Sidney’s nerves. I was glad that Sidney realized she was in love with Gunner and wanted more, but she didn’t want to mess up their friendship. Sidney comes up with a plan to try and make Gunner see her as more than a buddy. I loved watching Gunner start seeing how beautiful she was and that she may not always be there with him. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Crazy Wicked Love is a must read if you enjoy a good friends to lovers story. You will laugh, cry and even get a little angry that Gunner won’t see what is right in front of him. However, after all the ups and downs, happily-ever-after does happen for Sidney.

I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own. Sidney is caring and strong, but a little awkward in her femininity and not much into flirting. Raised by her dad and then becoming a marine, it makes sense that she hasn’t had a lot of practice. It really hasn’t been a problem until she starts comparing herself to Gunner’s conquests. As her heart gets ever closer to breaking with every new woman than joins him in bed, she realizes she has to do something – either convince him to see her as more than a friend or find a way to move on. It’s not going to be easy, and definitely has plenty of potential for going horribly wrong, but she’s gotta take that chance. Gunner knows that Sidney is the best thing that ever happened to him and the thought of losing her friendship is unbearable. Faced with the possibility of losing her to someone else, especially his cousin, has him in knots. Before long, he realizes that maybe she’s more to him than his best friend who is like one of the guys. But is he willing to risk everything to find out? Man, I felt for Sidney. Firmly put in the friend zone and living with Gunner while he brings women home with a great deal of frequency … it’s no wonder she gets a little desperate. Watching him wake up and realize exactly what they could be together – very satisfying!

Sidney and Gunner have been best friends for years, dating back to their time in the military together. They've lived and worked together for quite some time, but they've been best friends, with Sidney being "one of the guys." However, Sidney is in love with Gunner, who has a constant revolving bedroom door, and has seemingly never looked at Sidney as other than his friend and sidekick. Sid is willing to try anything to get Gunner to notice her as a woman, so she hatches a plan to catch the eye of a mystery guy, and have Gunner be her wingman. Can a plan that crazy actually work? Will they find their forever connection or will things change for the worse? This book is very hot, and very sweet, and makes me want to join this family and friend group even more than I did before! This book can definitely be read as a standalone, but you will want to go back and read them all!

Where do I even begin? I know when I pick up a Melissa Foster book that it’s going to be good. I wasn’t disappointed with this one. 😊 I couldn’t put it down. The relationship between Sidney & Gunner is something all couples strive for. They have always been there for each other. They just need to get out of their own way!!! I love the interconnection of so many of the different pieces of the author’s different books and series. I will always come back for more from this author.

I was extremely excited to read Dwayne's and Sidney's story. i was hoping they would get through the ups and downs when it came to their second chance. What I love about Melissa's writing is that she will pull so much emotion from her readers. Crazy, Wicked Love was no exception. I could not get enough of this book! Sidney and Dwayne had me the moment they were introduced in this series. They are the best and got underneath my skin. Book friends!! You have to get your hands on this bad boy! Crazy, Wicked Love is a Must read and a 2022 book favorite!!!

(Received an ARC.....voluntarily reviewing) So the initial plot is that Sidney likes Gunner, but Gunner only sees her as "one of the guys". Sidney tries to get him to notice her, but makes him think that she's interested in his cousin. Then there's the small added wrinkle her friends trying to fix her up with other guys, which basically turns this story into a slightly complicated soap opera. While that part made my head swim a little (and there were times when I wanted to smack them both), the payoff was well worth it. Because once they finally got everything straightened out, I nearly yelled out, "Thank goodness!" In fact, I re-read that scene a few times because I was so relieved that it worked out. So while Sidney and Gunner may be frustrating at times, hang in there. It's definitely worth the wait.
