    But… they are costly. This series initially seemed like a good deal but the books are very short. I feel invested in Jessie Hunt, although the horribly poor editing throughout the series and prices are starting to turn me off. I’m not sure I’ll continue through the end. They are easy to read and fun, but nothing amazing.

    I loved The Perfect Image! This is the 16th entry in the Jessie Hunt series and Jessie’s skills as a profiler are sharper than ever. She and Ryan have just solved a terrifying case and have been in protective custody along with Jessie’s younger sister, Hannah. After 15 books with the same protagonists, one might worry that the plots and themes would become stale and redundant, but that is not the case here. The new case again pairs Jessie and Ryan as they try to find who is killing the wives of wealthy men. Meanwhile, Hannah struggles to come to terms with her actions during the previous case and her developing certainty that she has more in common with her and Jessie’s serial killing father than she is letting on. The big news is that Ryan finally asked the big question. I have my fingers crossed that Jessie and Ryan eventually exchange vows!

    I am hooked on this series 100 %! Honestly, sometimes I’m frustrated with Jessie being her own worst enemy, but with her background, it’s understandable. The series is filled with great supporting characters and you grow to care for all of them. This latest installment is no different. Thanks Blake for giving me something great to read every day!

    Jessie says yes to Ryan’s proposal, but wants to keep it a secret. Jessiet pays a visit to Andrea Robinson in a psychiatric unit, a manipulative narcissist who attempted to kill Jessie by poisoning her. Andrea has a proposal for Jessie, write a letter to have her transferred to other facility and she will provide Jessie with information on how she knew about the Night Hunters (book 15) plans. Jessie mulls over the proposal from Andrea as she begins a new case we’re nothing seems to appear as it is in a Los Angeles suburb, we’re wealthy wives are being found dead in their homes. Jessie discovers secrets and much more lie within this case, before discovering who the killer is. A page turner to the end, we’re Jessie and Ryan always get their man/ woman.

    I cannot get enough of Jessie Hunt! I love all of the different developing story lines. I can’t wait to read what happens next! If you haven’t already started this series you must!
