Book Synopsis

“The Prince I Love to Hate is an absolute must read! This romcom will have you rooting for Niamh and Olivier right from their hilarious first meeting.” - Harlequin Junkie Blog top pick

This prince?
He’s anything but charming.

I’ve never been the girl who’s dreamt of a prince rescuing me from a fire-breathing dragon before whisking me away to his castle.

So when I fly all the way to Ireland to find my long-lost dad, I have no intention of playing the damsel in distress to some dude.

But the night I encounter—and accidentally wallop upside the head—Prince Olivier of Salasia, my plans are completely upended.

This prince is the opposite of charming, though. After thirty seconds in his presence, I want to feed him to a dragon.

But fate is a fickle b*tch. Before I know it, I agree to team up with Olivier in the search for my dad.

As I travel across Europe with this actual honest-to-god prince, I wonder, what’s the worst that could happen?

It’s not like I’ll be stupid enough to fall in love with Prince Charming.

A tantalizing tale about two people who search for different reasons to find a clock and a father but after a complicated search through several countries, all is ultimately connected in a shocking ending. A great story!

What a spellbinding novel filled with intrigue, surprise, rejection, and, above all, humor. The characters are delicious, and the plot twists and turns like a high-speed rollercoaster. Iris Moreland does not disappoint with this reverse fairy tale, and I look forward to the sequel.
  • So excited for a new series from Iris Morland!

So excited for a new series from Iris Morland! Niamh relocated to the US as a child when her father abandoned their family and her mother passed away, in addition to her grandfather basically shunning the entire family as well. But after his passing, she finds that he left her everything, with a caveat to locate her missing father that everyone presumed was dead. Traveling to Ireland to take ownership and to find the father she barely remembers, she meets Oliver, who she initially is told is groundskeeping staff, but turns out to be prince of a small country and is looking for something that Niamh’s father was in possession of, and they decide to work together to find both her father and the missing item. As the pair travel around Europe following clues and gaining more information, we find that Oliver has left information out from telling Niamh, but they also have chemistry that continues to build between them that they eventually act on. While we do resolve some of the mysteries at the end of this book, we also get left with a major cliffhanger that made me so excited for the next book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I throughly enjoying reading The PrinceI Love To Hate and had a difficult time putting it down. I loved how Iris Moreland creates characters who are interesting, humorous and romantic. Niamh travels to Ireland to claim her inheritance and needs to find her father that abandoned her mother, brother and Niamh when she was born. Olivier, also comes to Ireland to Niamh family home to look for something of his mother’s. This is a fun romantic comedy that is really entertaining to read. I highly recommend reading this book and l am looking forward to the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
