...and the next that makes me feel powerless". HOLY SMOKES!! I cannot believe this happened. There are so many fantastic twists and turns. I am absolutely captive with this series. At every turn something unexplainable happens. And it leaves you wanting more.

The third book in this paranormal story by Sawyer Bennett starts as Book Two left off. The books need to be read in order to understand the concept, but once again Ms Bennett had me reading as fast as I could. I wasn’t sure she could entertain me in the same way she did with the first 2 books, but I was very pleasantly surprised. For the first part of the book, I felt we were gliding along nicely in the story, and I was trying to figure out where it was actually going, but the last third of the book was very eye opening and again finishes on a cliff hanger. As I have said before, I am not a big fan of paranormal, but knew that if Ms. Bennett wrote a story, I would definitely give it a try, and once again I am so glad did. I am so totally invested in Finley, Carrick, Zain and the rest of the gang, and I am anxiously looking forward to the next book.

Oh man I don't know how much more my heart can take with this series...who am I kidding give me more!! Finley learns more about her sister and hold on for a wild ride between her and Carrick. We learn more about the underworld and more into Finley's beautiful tattoo and powers. And that ending I did not see that coming. I can't wait for the next book.

I am totally head over heels for this series and Carrick and Finley. If I didn’t already love Sawyer Bennett’s writing, I would now! With each book comes more new and interesting information about the characters, the prophecy and how they all fit into that and just the story itself. And there are so many wonderful characters. This is such an amazing and intriguing story that I honestly never want to end. Finley’s relationship with Carrick grows with each book as well and I am loving that so much! We learn something incredible in this one about their connection. And it’s a heart stopper for sure! Cannot wait for the next book!
