Love....Love...Love Dex (Declan) and Andi. Tracy has given us another story that is full of sweet moments, humor, and even some laugh out loud moments. Loved getting to know Declan and Andi and unraveling their stories. Always love Tracy’s supporting older characters who add so much to her stories. Can’t wait to get to know whoever is next in the series. Also, it was fun catching up with some old friends. Thanks Tracy for another great one....can’t wait for the next one.

Tracy Solheim’s Just for Kicks right out of the gate has you falling in love with the characters and the story. Though it is considered a sports romance, it is heavier on the romance...with enough sports to keep the story relevant to the genre...I was completely satisfied with the mix between the categorizations. The way Andi is portrayed, you never feel sorry for her, she captures your heart from the onset, her resilience and fortitude are admirable, and you can’t help but want to see her find her HEA, of her own making and with Dex. The drama and romance are intertwined perfectly, both balanced to keep the pages turning and an emotional investment growing with each turn of those pages. The humor and banter is side splitting...there’s nothing like teammates to keep you on your preverbal toes...and the reality doled out in equal measure, making the story that much more relatable to the daily struggles that Andi experienced before meeting Dex. In increments Andi breaks through to Dex, who being a tortured soul...a strong man who is used to keeping his emotions close to the vest...unintentionally finds himself letting her in. All in all this was one story I was engrossed in from start to finish. I look forward to reading more of the Growlers teammates...who each had such unique (and so often laughable) personalities...in the coming stories.
