    Quick read- sweet and cute. Great bedtime story. Emma Rose and Noah got married over a misunderstanding and fall in love on the Oregon Trail. There is not much about the trail just a cute love story.

    Emma sold her parents house and went to her aunt and uncles after the death of her parents and her fiancée in the war. Her aunt and uncle had sold their business she didn’t understand why but they were all going to Oregon city on a wagon train. Emma was attacked right off as they were heading west on the wagon train while she was getting water down at the river to wash the dishes, but was saved by the man who came running after she screamed. She introduced herself as Emma Rose Murphy, and her savior introduced himself as Noah Parker. Very nice to meet you Miss Murphy. Though I would have preferred different circumstances, as would I Mr Parker. Emma was still having nightmares about her mother’s death and she didn’t want to disturb her aunt and uncle so she got up and went for a walk in the middle of the night...thankfully Mr Parker heard her and brought her back to the wagon but her uncle was awake and incensed that they were together and insisted they marry immediately. This is the Very Basic Beginning to a Suspenseful Romantic Mystery that I just loved.
