I didn’t know if I was going to like this book , but ended up loving it . I have to say I was very impressed by Ophelia Bell’s being able to bring tears to my eyes several times . I would highly recommend this book but only to mature readers due to some of the content.

Ophelia Bell writes about strong women who are not apologetic about enjoying sex and alpha men who do not mind strong women. If you are ready to take a trip on sensual ride, then pack your bags for this steamy mafia voyage. The journey introduces you to a world of action, mystery, suspense and a wonderful world of fiction. Ophelia Bell usually writes about steamy dragons, but this latest introduction to mafia series had me on the edge. Ophelia never disappoints capturing my attention. The world building in this novel was very original. Each characterization was top notch with the leading men and leading lady being very distinct individuals. The storyline had everything needed to keep you turning pages; such as, 2 hot strong men, a strong heroine, steamy scenes, thrilling action suspense and mystery. A well written mafia story that is unpredictable and entertaining. Looking forward to the next tasty installment. I’ve followed this author for years but I usually stick to PNR. I love her books enough to branch out and see what she’s done and I’m so glad I did! This is a great story with enough going on to keep you invested throughout the entire story. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

The first book of a very intense series. Mad Dog or Maddox has a past that forever changed him both physically and emotionally. He discovered more about himself but led to so much pain and suffering. The scars he tries to hide but even he will have to show them if he is to survive. Leo, his best friend and Celeste, the first girl he ever loved, are the other two main characters. The story will show the darkness of the mafia and its effects on those not involved in it. Good men make bad decisions and death will be the consequence. The story has a deep plot that is always changing with some twists that will make you cry, some to make you laugh and some that are pure hotness. There are m/m, m/f and m/m/f scenes.

Exquisite pain. I do so love a book by Ophelia Bell. Why? Because she understands the fluidity of attraction. And what comes around, goes around. Maddox had a thing for Celeste in high school. Years later, he’s out of the military and working as a tattoo artist and he’s bi. Leo (who Maddox has a jones for) has a jones for Celeste, who he can’t have. Just like Maddox couldn’t have her. Super steamy. And sharing is involved. Recommend.

The storyline is full of danger, intrigue and violence with romance thrown in to make this book worth reading. Madonna, Celeste, and Leo are thrown together after a deal goes wrong, The characters are amazing. I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
