I love magic and stuff like that AND I LOVE IT

Great story and wonderful characters. I like magic and mystery and this book has both. You will really enjoy it!

Absolutely love the story! The turns of events and personality of the characters leaves you wanting to know more and more!

Didn’t love it. Didn’t hate it. The plot was pretty linear and the story would benefit from more showing and less telling, particularly when trying to get readers to empathize with characters. While I appreciate the author’s attempts to highlight mental health, the underlying reasons for concern aren’t explored to any real depth. I understand a number of things may have been left intentionally vague to be covered later in the series, but it’s at the price of not giving readers much to work with for the duration of this book. There isn’t a real conclusion, ending like the end of a chapter with the next book starting like it’s the next chapter.

Devon Jinx is a unique being born half witch and half warlock. Tragedy has snapped her life until one day she decides it’s time to find her purpose. So she goes to work for the Hunted Witch Agency. Her mission to help find the people kidnapping witches and draining them. I very much enjoyed Devon and her sense of humor. She’s a breath of fresh air in the midst of a dark case the agency tries to unravel. Very good beginning to a series.
