I really love this series, and the story telling is so captivating. However the authors lack of the use of the word of drives me crazy. For example, came out the house, got out the car. Also relived instead of relieved is used many times in this book, which is probably an editing slip up, but still distracting while reading. Maybe a new editor is needed. Still a very good series and not enough to stop reading, just a distraction for me. I will continue to read each one in the series.

Love the series -every book gets better and better!!!!

This book was good but not one of my favorites in this series. It held my attention. As usual I just cannot stand Jenna. She’s so bossy, needy, & annoying. What type of law enforcement doesn’t want to call in help right away? Her throwing a tantrum thinking Kane may have a date was ridiculous. Their relationship is also annoying. He deserves better. She doesn’t come across as having any prior special training. The mention of them constantly eating is getting old. One town having so many serial killers? Come on..come up with some new ideas. Geez

..and can’t wait for the next book to come out!! This is the BEST series I’ve read in ages!! The characters interactions are realist and the dialogues are rich. I am constantly waiting for Jenna and Dave to take the next step in their relationship!! And then there’s Wolfe, someone has to snatch this gorgeous father of three up! He’s just too yummy for words. I have fallen in love with the characters of this town!! They solve the worst crimes imaginable and still tug the heartstrings of humanity by their small town lifestyle.

Author has a way with words from #1 to #9 in the series but I think it may be my last as I think about all of this has become upsetting to me while sleeping 💤 loved each book and if you can read this book it will scare you to death 💀 Best Wishes
