What a great start to a new series! Some new friends and familiar ones in this book. Bullard, Levi and Ice,s friend is on his way home when his plane goes down. Roland and Garrett are rescued by Tabi, a nurse who is on a solo sailing trip. After some boat trouble,they are all on a US Navy ship except Bullard who is missing! This is book one in the Bullard’s Battle series and it features Ryland and Tabi. It’s never a dull moment for Tabi when Ryland‘s around. He certainly puts her nursing skills to the test.  As much as she says she doesn’t fit in with his lifestyle, she fits pretty well.  This story line was fantastic! As always, the characters were awesome. The non-stop action wouldn’t let me put the book down. The mystery, suspense and romance were spot on! I need to find out what happened to the boss and Garrett. I can’t wait for book 2 and more!

This was a great book . Keep you wanting to read. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Intriguing story line for new series. Planes exploding, boats capsizing in storm to shoot outs at a museum with a growing friendship between one tough nurse and bodyguard this book has it all and I’ve already preordered the remaining books .

The start of a new series by Dale Mayer -- no warm up with this book. Mere pages into the story and it immediately becomes a page turner. The roles of rescuer and rescuee keep changing. As always, strong men and a stronger woman. Shadow enemies. I am looking forward to next story and the next. A romance, a page turner and a strong anchor book for the new series.
