  • Not worth the time...

The concept could be a great story but in this case the characters were flat and the overall story telling was unrealistic. Not to mention the abrupt ending. Since I did not read the summaries of the other books in this series, had no idea it was a TRILOGY and not a true series.
  • Decent story, lousy end

This was a decent story but I hate when authors divide a story into three books with no warning, making you have to buy three books in order to read one story. Boo!
  • Somewhat okay

The way their relationship started was very inorganic. It was looking at each other to boom I love you and you are mine for him, while she was very disconnected from him. Also I felt like Sadie had no character for some reason like she was not portrait in an explanatory way. If I was a guy I would be like I don’t have time for you. Uma and Paris was better described and honestly I would have matched Troy up with Uma. I did not feel anything endearing from Sadie towards Troy and Troy was too possessive too fast.
  • Overall good

I enjoyed this one, especially since I was prepared and decided to buy both this book & the 3rd on the trilogy so I wouldn’t be surprised by an unfinished ending.

Lexy Timms keeps you hanging again! It was so worth it though! In the second book of the Leaning Towards Trouble Series Sadie finds out her ex has escaped and she is basically caught between a rock and hard place. Her loved ones want to keep her locked up tight but she doesn’t want to hide. Things take a turn though....I cannot wait for the final book in this series!!
