The village is bustling and friendly. Vale and Cynthia Louise are wonderful characters. They simply fit together, whether they are at odds or at fun. A helpful sister, a sweet cousin, a delightful puppy, and even lords a-leaping through the garden add lots of fun and humor to the final tale of the Dukes of Christmas. This has been such a fun, cheerful series, and Forever Your Duke is the perfect ending. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What a fabulous historical Christmas romance to end Ms Ridley’s 12 Dukes of Christmas series‼️👏. This is the unlikely love story of the Duke of Nottingvale & Miss Cynthia Louise Finch, (a free spirited, untitled Miss with a penchant for trouble) who arrives as chaperone for her young cousin, Lady Gertie, & other guests at the Duke’s Yuletide house party/bride hunt‼️. The Duke is not looking for a love match - he has been taught to do his duty, to be the perfect Duke, to marry & provide heirs! What will happen in the magical town of Cressmouth is a joy for the reader to discover❣️❤️👍. If you’re new to the series, I heartily recommend all of them & all of Erica Ridley’s novels - bet you’ll love her historical tales, too❣️👏. This author deserve 5 stars & more❣️ Carol R. There’s a straight laced Duke who follows all the rules-The Duke of Nottingville. There’s a lady who gave up on all the rules after years of trying to follow them - Cynthia Louise. The Duke must choose a bride. Cynthia must find her niece a husband. Watching the Duke and Cynthia come together in this story is wonderful. She teaches him you don’t have to be perfect. He teaches her a little rules wouldn’t be so bad. Great story.

Such fun! Cindy Lou, oops, Cynthia Louise Finch (who lives in Houville) is a force of nature at 30. She’s a spinster, firmly on the shelf with a larger than life personality. Her job is to get her young cousin Gert married to the duke. It’s finally Alexander, the Duke of Nottinvale’s turn. He’s the very proper duke who lives by the rules. Like marrying the perfect debutante. Not Cynthia. Oh, this duke is just asking for a good rumple. Recommend.
