A sweet story! Henry (Tank) enlisted to the military not knowing he’ll met his soulmate during the sweet summer. He met Beatrice ( Honeybee) and it was amazing Six weeks of their life. So when it was time to leave for his recruitment, he thought a clean break, no attachment was a good for the both of them. Honeybee was devastated, he left without saying a proper goodbye. She was so heartbroken that the whole month os September she was in her room crying! Thirteen weeks passed by with no news from Tank. She just started to get out. Now it’s Thanksgiving and guess who shows up knocking at Bea’s house? She’ll make Tank work for her forgiveness but will it be enough. Will she accept his apologies and his marriage proposal? Will Tank leave her again? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 1/2 Cute Stars! This was a sweet Thanksgiving second chance romance of sorts. Tank and Bea’s secret summer romance ended abruptly when she joined the marines and ghosted her for thirteen long weeks. I really thought there was going to be a good reason for Tank’s cold behavior considering he was actually a nice guy. But no, he really was going to leave her for his new career in the military. He didn’t expect to miss her so much, and he certainly didn’t expect to realize that he wanted her with him forever. When he showed up on her doorstep on Thanksgiving day to win her back, I was happy with her response to him. The rest of the book had him doing whatever he could to win back her trust. Kudos to the author for having him stick it out with her and being a man of his word. I liked the reality check of a life that was filled with newlywed challenges and I especially liked the way her parents were supportive of their marriage by forcing her to take responsibility for her relationship with Tank. An easy to read, feel good holiday romance! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
