Normally I love stories like this but this wasn’t giving anything. I couldn’t get behind Tami’s reasoning and she was so such an inconsistent person. I didn’t find that the other characters had enough substance to keep the plot interesting. Then the spicy was just so hard to read. It felt like the author was unfamiliar or uncomfortable writing the sexy scenes. There was an element of Sexual Assault so maybe she isn’t familiar in that regard and that’s why they were hard to get through. I’ve read darker stories and some that are meant to be horrific and unpleasant but this was just bad. I got through 50% of the book and had to DNF. I was throughly disappointed in this story

I enjoyed the book, but I wish it hadn’t ended in a cliffhanger! Now I need to know more. For sure will stick around and read more.

You get seriously invested in the storyline just to be told to go to the next book as if it is already written and out there to buy. Understandable with a free book, but he next book isn’t out there and this was published in 2020. I am invested in the characters now and feel like I’ll never know where it could’ve gone… not sure I’ll ever know if it does end up getting published.

I have read about a thousand books! This is the first one, that I have truly hated to see end! Truly different, imaginative. I truly enjoyed it, although it is a cliff hanger 🥺
