This nook takes you on a wild goose chase with an ending that only a sleuth could figure out. Not gory at all. I very interesting read!

This book has a Great plot, mysterious characters and a good read to the very end .

It was a bit slow at first but as the story unfolded I couldn’t put the book down!

Lots of twists and turn. Good plot and strong characters. Decent mystery, keeps you guessing.

The main story was interesting, well written and a surprise ending. Lots of characters intermingling with this private investigator, sometimes a little confusing. Worth reading.

So many strong women characters in this book, and twists so bizarre you’d think this was real life ….cuz you just can’t make this stuff up - unless you’re Braylee Parkinson!

Reads like a dry police procedural. Not any crisis, so nothing to anchor the story to anything. Won’t bother to read anything else by this author, but I did finish, so there is that. Figured it out less than half way through the book.

This will be a wonderful series. The PI is as sharp as the setting is gritty.

This book was written very well. I couldn’t put it down!
