I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. Many of the things she discusses in the book are things she’s talked about on her show, which I’ve watched since her very 1st appearance with Paula Deen. She & Ladd seemed very down to earth & real. I’ve made many of her recipes through the years & like that they are made from ingredients that I can pronounce & find in my local grocery store. Most of them are made with things always in my pantry. Anyway, the book is written in a laidback style, much like having a conversation with her. I’m glad I bought this one!
