The storyline is enjoyable and gets a grip on the reader throughout, including an occasional reader like myself. Suspense was articulated masterfully - complementing the pleasure of reading. Happy to recommend for good pass-time reading experience.

A fascinating read! With so many twists and turns,it’s not too surprising that the ending is a situation never thought of.

Fun read if you don’t think too much about the plot holes and random jumps in conversation and thought processes. The synopsis had a lot of potential and I believe characters could’ve been fleshed out more but I was left wondering if Slim had learned anything; I mean, he felt for Emma despite everything she did that was messed up, but not even fully explored or explained. The writing style was a pleasant surprise.

What a wonderful page - turner! I totally loved every detail of this wonderful mystery! It brought some goosebumps along then I kept thinking maybe I might never go along the shore of the Sea… Any of them!

This was an interesting twisty story, partly due to the detective constant tippling, hard to keep a story straight when you are not!

I read a lot. Like, a lot. And so many books have the same plot. They’re so predictable I can call them pretty well (I read mainly thrillers, psychological and love stories lol.) This one was different. It was interesting and kept me guessing. I really enjoyed reading it.
