The summary of the novel is misleading. There is no mention of the second story that is woven into Lillian and Jack’s. This second story is from the second book in the series about Toni, the vampire solider. With Toni’s story randomly inserted into Lillian and Jack’s it makes everything hard to read. Toni’s story isn’t nearly interesting enough to be apart of this book. Awful choice on the author’s part.
