If you want to ugly cry until your entire face hurts, this book is for you. If you want your soul twisted and contorted as if you’re losing one of your own (when your rational mind is screaming at you telling you they are all fictional) this book is for you. If you believe in love above all, this book is for you. It tackles incredibly difficult subjects so beautifully and if you’re not in love with Ella, Colt, Maisie, Beckett, and Havoc, within the first few chapters, you’re as heartless as the Tin Man. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the death of— I’m not gonna ruin it but, well, it’s by Rebecca Yarros…you know it’ll rip your heart out. Enjoy!

Had me hooked from the beginning, gutted me at the end.

It was an extremely easy read and I loved it. But I wouldn’t recommend it… I did to my best friend, because if I cry, she cries. (Evil laughter)

This book is a great and easy read. Pulls at your heart strings in all the right places. Have tissues handy!

What a great book filled with life. Sobbing mess, so great with so much sadness. Rebecca really hit home with this one.

Heartbreaking. 💔 so well written and such a great story. But this book hurt to finish.

This book wrecked me! I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard while reading a book. Gonna take me a little while to get over this one, especially as a mom, with a military connection. Keep the tissues handy if you give this one a go.
