Book Synopsis

Amidst the land of Draconia, young Rowan embarks on a perilous quest with a singular goal: to win the heart of the prince and claim the throne.

Yet, as fate would have it, the prince has designs of his own, and Rowan finds herself ensnared in a web of intrigue, seduction, and danger. In this realm where dragons reign supreme, Rowan's mixed heritage marks her as an outcast, serving as a pawn in the schemes of her cruel stepfather. As she struggles to keep her mystic gifts hidden, two princes vie for her affections, and Rowan's fate hangs in the balance.

But when a twist of destiny brands her as a fugitive, her only hope for survival rests in the hands of a notorious pirate, whose very soul was said to be stolen from the heavens. Together, Rowan and Elian and his crew embark on a journey to uncover the truth of their intertwined paths, and the power that could shape the very fabric of time, life, and the fate of their world.

This was a good book. Rough at some points to get through but I still enjoyed reading. I will be reading the rest of the series. If you like fantasy and mythical creatures then I would recommend giving this book a go. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rowan was a half blood dragon. Her kind wasn’t readily accepted by the dragons. She was sent away to be a lady in waiting to the Princess because her step father didn’t like her. Then she was accused of killing the prince. The same prince that secretly was waiting to announce their relationship to be married. Then the man from her prophecy saved her from being saved. The answers and more questions that came from the supposed saving left Rowan more confused and alone than ever. Interesting and intriguing journey I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I’m not a connoisseur of fantasy books, more like newly introduced. Having said that, I’ve read a handful of stand alone’s and a few series and I actually really got into this one. I’m gonna have to buy the rest! Being on a shoestring budget, that’s saying a lot for me. Interesting, but believable world, characters that got my attention, a few twists I guessed correctly, others that I was delightfully wrong about or just wasn’t anticipating, which made it juicier. Good stuff!
