It was a ok book. Pretty simple. Editor or proof reader should have deleted at least half of the time “licked his/her lips” was used.

I think that this book could have been good. I liked the storyline, but the writing was far from great. I felt as though I was reading a book that someone was typing off of the top of their head. The sentences often were run ons or made no sense. There were plenty of grammatical errors, as well. I simply could not get past it and only made it a few chapters in.

Not very well written. I’ve read too many other books that keep you effortlessly hooked. Unfortunately, This is not one of them. I loved the storyline but the couple’s processes of reconnection was repetitive and unrealistic. Pretty disappointing. Spoiler Alert!: Brooke’s life was shattered by Cole and his father. Her character had survived years of struggling on her own! She should have been stronger & more guarded. And definitely more protective of Kaia! After having only what, 3 separate encounters, Brooke allowed Cole, not only in her bed but overnight so that Kaia found him there the next day!! WTH! And Cole should have had to work much harder for much longer to prove himself and gain her trust.
