I have read all the books so far in this series and I'm addicted! This is Blade and Wendy's story and it was intriguing, captivating, steamy and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not put this book down!! The way Blade handle Wendy's insecurities and was right there for her when everything comes to a head, had me swooning.

What can I say about this but it was a fantastic read! This series is one of my favorites so I have been looking forward to Blade's story. Although Ms. Stoker does set up the readers for the final book in the series, she did not detract from Blade and Wendy's story. I loved how they met and how strong Wendy has had to be to take care of her brother this way. For anyone that has read any of Ms. Stoker's books, you know she likes to run her leading lady through the gauntlet. I loved the twist she did with this story. RESCUING WENDY by Susan Stoker. Wendy and Blade - oh how I adore these two! Wendy is such a strong woman, even if she feels like the world is on her shoulders. She is so loving and protective, I admired her from the start. Blade is yummy! :) He sees Wendy for the beautiful and wonderful person she is right from the start. The interactions between Wendy, Blade and Jackson were heartwarming and heartfelt, too. Ms. Stoker has written an endearing tale that has love and romance, yet suspense and danger too. Her characters are true, the plot is intriguing and a bit of a nail biter at times, and the writing style flows effortlessly. I couldn't put it down until I was done. It was enjoyable to visit with some characters from previous books too. Being a big fan, I've read all of the earlier books but it truly isn't necessary. Although I do highly recommend them as well. Whoa!! I could not put this book down. I just kept reading and reading. Everything was so great about this book. The action was just, wow. And that ending! Holy smokes.There were twists and turns, and everything in between. I think I'm still wrapping my mind around it. One thing is for sure, Susan Stoker has done it again with another great book. There's also great lead in to the next, and final, Delta Force Heroes book.
