Book Synopsis

From USA Today bestselling author Katie Reus comes the ALL NEW Redemption Harbor series where sparks fly and so do bullets…

He foolishly let her go…

When the woman he loved walked out of his life, Brooks Alexander was certain she did so willingly—with the cool two million his father had offered as incentive to walk away. So when the former Marine scout sniper learns that Darcy didn’t take a dime of his father’s payoff, Brooks realizes he made an epic mistake. He’s determined to set things right and reclaim his woman. Except neither task is as easily accomplished as he first thought.

Now her life is in his hands…

Wedding planner Darcy is no stranger to disappointment when it comes to the men in her life. When Brooks accused her of taking his father’s bribe, she was devastated that he thought so little of her—and realized he never knew her at all. So she walked away with her pride intact and her heart broken. Now, months later, an overheard conversation puts Darcy in the crosshairs of a dangerous criminal with powerful connections. With nowhere else to turn, she has no choice but to put all her trust in Redemption Harbor Consulting—and its cofounder, the man who broke her heart.

Great writing, wonderful story line. But, to keep it colloquially correct ranch is a term used out west, farm or plantation is the term used in South Carolina.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was an intense and gripping story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Brooks and Darcy's second chance together. I loved the dual POV that the book is written in. It really helps me to understand what the character is going though and why he or she is doing things that may not seem logical to me. Everyone responds differently to situations. The book started out with a bang and kept building toward a explosive ending. This story kept me entertained to where it was hard to put down. The scenes were crafted in a way that they flowed like a movie in my mind. I highly recommend this story to anyone.

I have loved, loved, loved this series! Just enough danger and suspense to keep you wondering how things would work themselves out, and love to die for! So well written it practically reads itself, which isn’t always to case with some writers!

DANGEROUS WITNESS by Katie Reus. “Redemption Harbor”. book 3 Darcy, a new business being a wedding planner, and thoughts maybe of a wedding with Brooks. She came from a dysfuctual family so when Brooks Dad made an offer, she didn’t put much thought into it, except to say no, and to tell Brook tonight. His jaw and angry look said it all, he believed his dad,who been married how many times, she wouldn’t defend herself. Learning the truth, he wondered if he was beyond redemption, with her. What follows, is a love that hadn’t died, a planner for Savages wedding, and we have bad guys. This has it all, characters from some of her other books, and how Brooks won Darcy back, a winner once again for Katie. Received ARC from. Net Galley for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
