    What is enjoyable about Ericka Jayne Girardi on Real Housewives is her straightforward “no BS” attitude. You can tell by the look on her face on the show when the petty stuff starts that she’s drifted off into her own world where this book originated. The origin of that personality comes through in this book. Her down home Southern girl tough times middle class upbringing took her to diamonds on the West Coast. This book was entertaining and fun to read. A great beach book for Mexico and escape for people like me who appreciates someone who made it to the big time with a Masters degree from the University of Hard Knocks. Keep pivoting, Ericka. It’s worked well for you.

    Pretty mess was too safe and on the surface. I’m a big Erika Girardi/Jayne fan and was hoping to find out MORE about her than we see on tv. This book had nothing new to add than we already know. She’s all about being yourself but still too afraid to reveal any deeper feelings or thoughts to the public. That’s ok just not meaningful. I’d appreciate it more if she was more herself on the outside and not just trying to convince us that she’s sensitive.

    I’m a huge fan of Erika from the RHOBH. As soon as I saw this book I bought it. I was shocked by how real she seemed on the show. It was odd that this woman who appeared to be the wealthiest of the bunch was the most down to earth and yet truly “fabulous and over the top” at the same time. Just a few shows in she was my new fav! I loved reading this book and learning more about her and all the hard work it takes to truly make it in Hollywood. I hate that these shows make it seem like these people become successful and famous overnight. Her life’s journey is a fascinating read and now I love her even more. She’s just getting started. So excited to see where she goes from here. The author did an amazing job. I really felt like Erika was talking to me when reading the book. I very much enjoyed the delivery of the story. It felt real, like a girlfriend telling you her story.

    I’ve been waiting for this book since I found out she was writing one. I absolutely love her. I haven’t been able to put the book down. She has always been one of my fave from RHOBH so reading this made me more of a fan. Good job Erika ! Really great book 😊
