I really enjoyed reading this! The characters are believable. There are a few spelling errors but not enough to interfere with your reading. This is a series but I think this could be read as a standalone. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I didn’t expect much since it didn’t sound like it was far enough in the future for my taste. I prefer humans being able to zip across the galaxy in weeks or months and tech so far fetched you need to give it a boring name to keep it from sounding like magic. This showed a lot of accurate knowledge about military, entirely plausible technology and science, all wrapped up in a good plot with great characters. I’ll be getting the next in the series in about 2 minutes!

The series is a fun easy light read. I love the arc of the series especially book one

This book has managed to captivate me from the beginning to the end. The story moves very smoothly the character development is pretty neat. It’s not many times that I am willing to automatically buy the second and the third in the series. So far, I have not been disappointed as this is a very good series to read.

Overall a good start off book to a series progressing to the next installment. I do like how Ethan’s story came along and the other recruits journey goes along. A good book to read and a good transition to part two.

Only three because the gratuitous vulgarity is taken too far. I say knowing full well I will be called a pantywaist and the use of vulgarity is reality. That is a weak argument propagated because it is easier to do so.
