    Great book. Suspense and romance my favorite combination. To take on a Drug cartel to help out a friend and discover the love of your life at the same time, awesome. Wonderful characters - the kind of group you’d definitely want on your side if you got into trouble. Can’t wait to read next I the series.

    This is a fast paced book full in mystery, intrigue and suspense. There is a lot of detail here that also lays the groundwork for future books of this series with the addition of all of Colt's friends and what they do. I didn't start this series here but started on and read books 3, 4 and 5. The characters were so likable that I knew I needed to go back to the beginning and read this one. Skye and Colt have had a difficult journey to their HEA. It is full of strife and heart-break. I loved Skye and how she is such a strong bad@$$ alpha female but full of heart and softness also. Colt was a strong, take charge alpha but full of love for his woman and family of friends. I loved the multiple POV format here. For me as a reader, to go into the mindset of the characters' and see how they are thinking in a given situation really helps me to identify with the characters. If you love suspense romance, then give this book (series) a try. I think you will enjoy it as much as I do.
