The Hollywood Commandments is not only an exemplary story of DeVon Franklin’s journey towards his purpose leading to his success in Hollywood, but it is also a practical and relatable literary work that gives valuable advice and principles on how the reader can integrate their spiritual foundation into their professional life. As someone who has had a strong spiritual foundation that originated in my church upbringing as a child, many of the points he made in the book resonated with me. I am on the climb in my career in Corporate America. Although, one may not choose theological path that may be expected from the church’s congregation, DeVon informs the reader that it’s not a condemnation to desire secular success. In fact, DeVon is adamant that much of his success has been attributed to what he learned throughout his career in Hollywood. This book takes you on a journey on levels of spirituality, professionalism, personal will, and practicality. The principles shared in this story are transferable in all realms of life. For me, this book is life-changing and lets me know that I can live my truth spiritually and cohesively work hard to thrive in my career. Thank you for the truth.

This book has so so much power in it...it’s a must read. This book will give you guidance when you feel allow...this book will give you strength when you feel weak...this book has giving me understanding that i may not know my purpose today but Gods timing is always on time. Seeking growth and wisdom until i reach my purpose is showing my desire to get there.
