    A time travel romance story can sometimes get really complicated. But not this one. Love the characters. The adjustment to a new century is often hilarious. Unexpected ending. Sad or happy? Read to find out.

    I read this story and was immediately captured. It didn’t read cheesy at all, and at first I thought it would be like “the Knight before Christmas” on Netflix but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The amount of research that went into this book deserves so much praise. As a fashion historian I can appreciate all the details instead of the usual “the corset dress laced up the back” from other novels of this type. There’s no unnecessary love scenes, but you still root for the characters to end up together. I could go on forever about this book!
