Book Synopsis

    Well as usual, Ms Ryan has written another winner. This story is about Murphy Gallagher, lead architect in the business he owns jointly with his brothers. Murphy is the Gallagher who was sick with cancer as a child but has been in remission for years. But at a family gathering he is horsing around with one of the children and his good friend Tessa notices his back is badly bruised afterwards. Everyone is upset as they realize that his cancer is probably back. Thus the tone is set for the story as Murphy starts treatments for the cancer, then finds out he is losing the apartment he has rented for years and has no place to go. Tessa's boyfriend Brent suggests he move in with Tessa since she just lost her roommate, Liz. The story takes several twists and turns from that point on and the reader is lead on a wild ride that,fortunately, has a happy ending. A great read.

    I really loved and enjoyed this one. This is really a wonderful series that I am sad to see go because I just love these brothers and there family so much! Murphy is just a really wonderful guy and I really felt for him in this book. I loved that he was able to overcome everything in his life and find the women of his dreams. I have enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what the author does with the rest of the family.

    Murphy is my favorite Gallagher... There, I said it. This book. Oh my heart! It is my favorite Carrie Ann Ryan book to date. How she was able to imbue so much anguish, and hope, and love, and hotness in to one package is beyond me. Hope Restored has solidified her place as a must read author for me - in fact, now I'm certain that I need to have all of her books in hard copies on my shelves, because she deserves my $. I don't think the book warrants a trigger warning, but keep a box of tissues handy, especially if cancer has touched your life. This book tells the story of two damaged people finding love, the strong bonds of family (blood and those we choose), and HOPE in a way that only Carrie Ann Ryan can pen. 5 out of 5 wine glasses, no question (though I sort of want to take a quarter of a point off because it's the last of the Gallagher's).

    I'm kind of sad to see that this is the end of the Gallagher Brothers series. I loved them all! Murphy most of all has captured my heart fully. It broke for him, cried for him, and eventually loved for him. I was sad in some parts of the journey that he had to go through all over again. I was afraid for him Carrie writes through the emotions so well that you sometimes feel them as your own. We met Tessa in the previous book as Liz's best friend and former roommate. I laughed at the banter which was down right sexy between Murphy and Tessa. They truly started off as great friends. Then it eventually grows into something more. But Murphy's life is turned upside down by events that are out of his control. All we can do is hope for the best. Tessa shows her loyalty by staying by his side, even through the scary stuff. Murphy puts Tessa first when she runs into danger. There was some sad moments that had me teary eyed. All in all if I could give Hope Restored 10 stars, I would in a heart beat! I love Carrie Ann Ryan's writing and can not wait to continue on with the Montgomery Ink clan.

    I was prepared for sadness and no few tears when I read this book and definitely experienced both, but rarely have I read a book so aptly titled. Hope Restored is jam-packed with that most lingering of emotions, hope. Two characters who have had little reason to believe in it, grasp on and hold it tightly in their fists. We had gotten hints of Murphy and Tessa in previous books but both characters are so much MORE when given a book of their own. Murphy isn't just the youngest Gallagher brother, he is above and beyond a survivor, he's a fighter who finally opens himself up and embraces living in the now and looking forward to the future. Tessa isn't just a next-door neighbor and best friend, she is loyal and loving and willing to open her heart when no one would blame her for keeping it closed. Fabulous characters and an awesome story, I only wish there where a few more brothers for Carrie Anne Ryan to write about in this spin-off series! I'm looking forward to what she comes out with next. I volunteered to read an ARC of this book.

    We finally get to see Murphy and Tessa go from flirty friends to hot and dirty lovers. These two are so cute and amazing couple, so supportive of each other and had each other's back through anything and everthing. The obstacles these two had to go through were heartbracking. I can understand now why Carrie Ann cired while writing this book.

    I love this series so much! I could not wait until we got to Murphy because the youngest of the bunch is usually the most interesting and Murphy sure is interesting! I loved the banter between him Tessa in Passion Restored so I couldn't wait to see them together in his book. I love all of the brothers but I've always had a soft spot for Murphy. I hate that everything happened to Murphy, but I'm so glad Tessa and his family were there! They made the best of the horrible situation that they faced. Love it so much and can't wait to see what she releases next!

    ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! Murphy thought that he was cancer free. Then he found out that that the cancer is back. Murphy will fight w/ everything to be cancer free again. Tessa has her own demons to fight. Now, she also had to fight her attraction for the Yummy Gallagher. How can she resist ? He is Yummy. Murphy lost the lease, so Tessa offered the extra bedroom at her house. This close proximity is killing her.but it is also killing him. Murphy + Tessa will have to figure out if it is worth it to give love a chance. The story was to me was so sweet. Friends becoming lovers, then falling in love. Ahhh! I did not want to book to end. I hope to read about the Gallaghers on the Montgomery's spin off. ( Pretty Please! )

    Powerfully written, emotionally gripping, edge of your seat, heart-string pulling, true to life struggle for hope and happiness. I am simply blown away by this amazing journey and conclusion to this highly entertaining series. Murphy Gallagher is so amazing in every way, strong, funny and brilliantly charming, his story is equally heart breaking and uplifting. Tessa Stone is sassy, strong, fun and no stranger to heartbreak. Their was so many tears and some laughter but most of a huge amount of family bounding that just makes you want to be a part of this loud, loving group.

    This book was amazing! It made me laugh, cry, and also cheer. Tessa and Murphy had chemistry off the charts, however you knew early on that they were so much more. My heart was shattered for their lips yet like Tessa the relief was guilt producing. The Gallaghers are an amazing family and their hearts continue to grow with every addition. Well done!!!
