I loved how the characters came to know each other. The one hurting physically from being shot and the other from being degraded by her boyfriend with a movie on the internet. How they come together and what keeps them together is riveting.

I loved this book! It was a mix of action and romance. My only thing is the ending kinda seemed as though it should continue. It wasn’t a cliff hanger or anything, but it was a set up for the next book, making it almost feel as though there was a sudden ending. Other than that I enjoyed it, and I would recommend it!

The test - will I read another in the series? YES. I will skip some of the pages of sex scenes, although they are well written, not porn.
  • Very interesting story

Violence, sex, and then love are all part of this story. Thresh is a haunted character and Lola is just haunted by betrayal that truly transcends normal bounds. They begin to repair each other. Enjoy!

There is lots of action as a security employee demands gun wound boo boos be treated by a certain single doctor. As their romance warms up so does the violence in a security operation. Hot sex is the theme

The guy’s character was so overworked!!! The fake narcissism and egotism. The girl was weak and mousy! Everything was over exaggerated!! The guy was supposedly 7 feet tall!! Only 0.005% of guys are close to 7 feet tall!! This was such a crappy, overstated, fantasy, never possible book!!

I am glad this is imaginary because a person, especially a man does not come as many times and remain ready as Thresh was in this book which turned me off, same for Lola. I really did like the action of Cain's men looking for them and the fights, it just wasn't much of it that cartoon.which I thought was the best part of the book, other than the story of what Jeremy did to Lola.
