Laine Parker is a successful realtor and best friend to Mack. When Mack sends her to a photo shoot at her boyfriend’s fellow ranger’s ranch as a set up, she beholds the gorgeousness that is Wes King. And it’s a lot of gorgeousness. When Wes gets sight of Laine, he’s struck by her looks, but he’s quickly enamored of her personality. She peaks his interest like no other woman has. This was a nice novella in the series with a couple of pop up appearances from characters we’ve met and enjoyed before.

I read Wes & Laines story as part of the Cowboy Justice 12-pack! The first thing I would like to say is I love, love, LOVED this story. It was a quick, lighthearted read but so worth it! This story had me smiling throughout the book! I just love Ms. Stoker's writing and she always does a superb job of pulling you into the story and I can't wait for her next book!!

I will say I expected drama, but I'm glad no one was kidnapped in this book. It was a nice love story. Loved the chemistry between Wes and Laine. The characters are very well developed. Will have to go read book 2 and 3. I've enjoy this book as well as book 1. Highly recommend.

Justice for Laine" by Susan Stoker is book four in the "Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes" series. This is Laine Parker and Westin "Wes" King's story. Laine is a realtor and a very independent woman. Laine's best friend asked her to cover for her at a photo shoot for a calendar. Laine agrees to do it, but she wasn't expecting this real, honest to goodness cowboy, Wes King. Wes is a true cowboy and is also a Texas Ranger. When Wes and Laine meet at the photo shoot sparks are flying. There is an immediate attraction to each other. Laine never expected that filling in for her friend at a photo shoot would result in an amazing romance. Wes knows that Laine is the one for him, but then she disappears. All anybody knows is that she had a scheduled appointment to look at some property but not the location. Wes will do anything to find her, but will he find her in time? A great quick read that gets your attention right from the start and keeps it throughout the book. You get an interesting storyline, steamy romance, and suspense. I also enjoyed the supporting characters. I look forward to reading other books by Susan Stoker. I purchased Cowboy Justice 12-pack which included this story. FYI, contains mature comment.

I LOVED this story!! The heroine does her friend a favor and goes to a photo shoot. At the photo shoot she meets a man who is a Texas Ranger just like her friends man. This one however is s true blue cowboy!! Anyways, she gets into trouble, he pulls out all of the stops to find her. Does he save her?? Can he save her?? This is the size of a novella, but with pretty much a full book inside. I didn't think it was possible to have a page turner novella, but it is!!

There's something about a big, strong, protective man. Laine is a busy realtor, but for her friend Mackenzie, she will free up some time. Mack wants her to go on a photo shoot for the last model for the charity calendar, Wes. Wes is a Texas Ranger. When they meet, the attraction is immediate and readily apparent. Of course, there is trouble. Weeks later, Laine goes out to inspect a rural property without letting anyone know her destination. She disappears. What happened? Will they be able to locate her? I love the sense of humor that shines through. Ms. Stoker brings the characters alive. They are people I would like to know and befriend. I highly recommend this book! As Laine says, "Holy mother of God. I've hit the mother lode." Thank you, Susan Stoker!

I love Laine and Wes! This is the 4th in the Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes series. As usual Susan Stoker provides us with an exciting and emotional story.
