Disgusting and degrading. Sick people who think women want to be sex slaves. How I would like to delete this nasty book from my library, but not possible. Thanks again for nothing, Apple.

This is the 3 rd book I have read by Kitty Thomas. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I have read enough books to know the husband was behind the whole thing. My one complaint with this authors books is that they just seem to dump at the end...there is a lead up at the beginning, there is the story, but then bam, the ending is so quick without any warning, it leaves the reader almost angry. I can’t give the book a 5-star rating as again, the ending just sucked. Books are like music...you start off soft, then there’s the crescendo, then you slowly back off. Every book I have read had the beginning, the crescendo, then a nose dive at the end. This is too bad as this author is so talented.

This was my 3rd read by Kitty Thomas, a wonderful start to an amazing series. Doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, each book has its own central characters and can be read in any order. In this book we meet Vivian, a bored, rich housewife who has gotten until she can’t stand her husbands touch, she can’t find any pleasure with him. After a trip to a therapist and a massage parlor Vivian finds herself a captive of the Pleasure House where she will be properly trained and sold to a Master. This book brought on all kinds of emotions but with a surprise twist at the end and it’s HEA, it’s a must read if you like dark romance.

This was a fascinating book. To see how Vivian is to begin with, and watch the transformation was quite interesting. And each interaction she has with each man, from beginning to end, keeps you guessing on what you think of them. Just when you start thinking one way, SWERVE, your opinion changes. I very very much enjoyed this, (to the point of saying one more chapter until I was done). I can’t wait to read more!
