Charlotte has a way about her that is so nurturing and her way of bringing everyone together is wonderful. Tariq has a way of bringing everyone together and is a perfect complement to Charlotte. The way that he brings all the other Carpathian's together is a true leader.

Normally love her books, but last few have been a disappointment. She always brought the characters to life, but hasn't happened in a while. What ever changed her style of writing was bad advise. People read her books for the story she told now it's as if someone else is telling the stories.

I love vampires, but in this book, there is a similar creature to a vampire. They are called Carpathians. The mix of vampires and Carpathian creatures are very similar, but with human-like morals and code of conduct. There was even some intense sex thrown into the mix. A very good book!

Good characters, great ideas, cleaver concept, but does read like Christine's other great books. I was disappointed being a real fan of her work and style. I was left wanting much more from this story and her over explained underdeveloped characters. It was almost as if someone else was writing the book trying to copy her style. It was overall a miss with parts not matching earlier works and content well. 3 stars is very generous for this book.

Didn't like the book at all. Too little plot and lots of unnecessary sexual moments.

This is the writing that I had grown to love from Ms. Feehan. Can't wait for the next in the series, it was a great build up to new characters and stories.

Dark Carousel has brought the next generation to the USA developing a new branch of the Carpathian's story. It has given it new life in which to grew mixing the old with the new! A must read!
