Book Synopsis

PSVBA is for elite-level athletes who are serious about volleyball and want to train and compete with other players of similar ability and commitment. The competitive, team-oriented, and athletic experience can enhance social development, instill a good work ethic, contribute to mental and physical health and teach values of personal responsibility, goal-setting, self-discipline and self-motivation.
PSVBA members include many of the best players in the Puget Sound area. Many former PSVBA players have gone on to play in college, including several All-Americans and former members of the US National Team.  A few have gone on to play professional volleyball overseas or on the AVP beach circuit.
Our driving mission is to raise the level of competitive volleyball in the region and we strive to qualify our teams to compete in the Junior National Championships held in late June-early July at various locations in the U.S.
PSVBA also prepares its players to compete on the collegiate level. Over 2,500 colleges and universities sponsor volleyball teams for women, and many of these schools offer partial and/or full athletic scholarships to help defray the cost of higher education.
