I don’t normally recommend military SF because the fighting tends to get boring. This authors style is both captivating and well thought out, however, and I highly recommend this series.

And the story is getting even more exciting the closer you get to the end. Once you read the first, you’ll definitely want to read the next. Another great sci-fi military story from the author.

I really enjoyed this book. I usually read one book in a series, then read someone else’s book before I come back to the first series. Not with this one. I bought the second book right after I finished the first. Lots of action and adventure. Enjoyable. Highly recommend to others.

Nice story line! Sounded like an updated version of an early "Star Trek" movie. Loved it.

Love this book and the sequels and the other books in this universe that the author has written. That said he has pulled these books from iBooks once already and put them up as different versions, which means if you already paid for them you've got to pay again to get them now.

I enjoyed this book, the focus on the evolving interaction (militarily) with another civilization had lots of interesting plot points. I'd like to see more character-focused aspects come out next.m in addition. Thanks.
