Couldn’t stop reading this book. It is full of romance, southern charm, and thriller moments all at once. I wish I could give it six stars!!

This book was the first book I’ve read in a very long time and I literally had trouble not reading it! There is so many things that are going on that you’re never bored. You really can connect with the main character and at times it made me cry. Other times I thought my heart was beating out of my chest! I can’t wait to read the next book because it left me wanting more!

My heart was effected throughout this entire story. I give it the high test rating because I am a country girl that loves horses and enjoy seeing sexy men too. I'm happily married and enjoy admiring anyone that takes care of their body. Canyon and Ari belonged together and their adventure was amazing. Sonja Stover Bracey

While there were typos and grammar mistakes in the book, it did not take away from the storyline. I was completely mesmerized by this book!! It is a quick read that you simply cannot put down. I recommended it to several of my friends.

I was spell bound throughout this book. I recommend it highly.
  • The cover?

I get the idea of wanting a hot, buff guy on the cover of your book. But that guy isn't someone who looks good from doing chores on the farm like the cover seems to imply. Why is there a professional bodybuilder on the cover? Is steroid use part of the plot?
  • Solid story

The book was good, the story was well developed and I enjoyed it. Overall, I don't think I'll read the next one as this one seems quite complete.
  • Meh - okay story but too many mistakes

I rarely write reviews. I take stories for what they are and if they are free I don't get mad if there are obvious mistakes. After seeing the cover I quickly downloaded... Have to admit that the cover model is hot...anyway... I am a horse person. I've been riding, showing, and training 25 out of my 33 years of life. This author did not take a minute of time to research the horse industry. With much of the book centered around the main characters' long rides and bonding over barn chores, the least the author could have done was research for the correct terminology, breeds (and breeding norms), and basic horsemanship. I think the book: Horses for Dummies would have provided enough info to make the story better but it was obvious no time was taken to do proper research. I only finished the book because the plot was reasonable and interesting. It's too bad I'm so turned off. Usually I'm eager to purchase follow up books but I won't with this author. I work too hard for my money to waste it on something and someone that can't bother to value their work enough to research and make their writing authentic.
  • I couldn't get past chapter 5

This is poorly written and overtly contrived. Maybe it's a first time effort by the author
