Book Synopsis

**From USA Today Bestselling author Jessica Wood comes Damian, book one in The Heartbreaker series.**

Meet Damian Castillo. The man, the legend, the heartbreaker. As a self-proclaimed man-whore, Damian doesn’t believe in love or commitment. In fact, he can’t remember the last time he’s had feeling for a woman that went beyond hot, no-strings-attached sex. The only things he cares about are his bar, his appearance, and his needs.

But then he meets Alexis.

Meet Alexis Blythe. A small town girl that has lost a lot of love in her life. Wanting to leave her past behind her, she moves to San Francisco looking for a big change. Yet, despite everything she’s gone through, she still believes in true love.

But then she meets Damian.

When Alexis shows up into his life, Damian’s caught by surprise. She’s different. She’s sweet, innocent, and feisty. But above all, this woman didn’t respond to his charm and piercing-blue eyes the way every other woman did. To Damian, she’s his ultimate challenge.

Could Alexis be the girl that will break through Damian’s wall of perpetual bachelorhood without getting hurt? Or will Damian remain true his ways and break Alexis’s heart and her hopes of true love?

I never bad rate books because I always feel bad but This book was horrible I just had to tell the author what a horrible book this was. Alexis shouldn’t have took him back. The guy was horrible and didn’t care. He cheated multiple times and didn’t care and she took him back no problem. He didn’t care about anyone but himself. He has commitment issues that needs to be taken care of and Alexia needed to understand she is way better than him and deserved way more. This author is say it’s okay to cheat and it doesn’t matter if you complete crush another persons heart as long as your hot . Damien would’ve been furious if Alexis so much as even looked at another guy. And yet he was sleeping around the whole time they were in a relationship. He said horrible things to Alexia when she caught him cheating. And I always say it’s not the other partners fault for another man sleeping around but this girl is an idiot she didn’t deserve the cheating but she she also shouldn’t of have taken him back. She was pretty much also telling him that’s it’s okay to cheat with no repercussions. I hated this book and it made me so mad I would not recommend!! I mean what kind of guy rates a girl put what her hotness level by their number and keeps a box full of all the numbers. He never even understand what he did wrong and the whole sob story about his mom and how she cheated on his father was completely hypocritical sense he did the same thing and didn’t understand what was wrong. If I could rate a book zero stars I would I don’t understand how this book even got one good rating

Literally this author writes almost encouraging cheating and double standards. The girl always thinks she can change the guy. The guy always screws up so many times is always forgiven in a heartbeat. This story is no different. Alexis didn’t even find out he was cheating on her when they set their first date or the box of girls numbers. Damien will never change he still doesn’t understand that what he did was wrong! All Alexis’s is a game, trying to conquer her like his other women conquests. Damien needed to be told he should go after Alexis, not like his life went downhill after she left. His friend Emily had to explain that cheating isn’t okay, he definitely isn’t mature enough for a relationship. A relationship is more that “being silly and spontaneous.” Damien could never be what Alexis wants and needs. This author will end up writing a 5 book series about Damien’s infidelity, Alexis constant heartbreak, cliche ending and double standards.

This story went from a bad boy, womanizer and then straight to in love. She caught him cheating and took him back no problem.
