This book was a very easy read and really puts a lot into perspective when thinking about what soldiers and especially special operators go through on some missions. I never saw any real combat time, I worked on the very chinooks they got picked up by and have the utmost respect for these individuals! Great book!

I hate reading most of the time, this had me ready for the next page all the time! I see Irv on demo ranch and other videos. It would be an absolute honor to meet him, thank him for his service and glad that he was safe to write this book along with the “cookie monster” thank you for a great read!

It was a great read! You felt like you were really part of the war and in battle at times.

You feel every Moment in the Book, so much so you feel as if you were there !

I enjoyed this book up until a point. The way the action and combat was depicted made you feel the tension. It made me feel like I was experiencing the situation, and he was able to pull me into his own past. This book was very immersive in the combat aspect. The only downside I found with this book was how dry it became. As I continued to read, the style and tone of the book was continuous. The transitions between the story were well done, but each mission was written in the same way. If there was some variation to the tone or style of writing, I believe it would keep it from being too repetitive.

This book is so good!!! There are some really good stories in here, I have wanted to be in the military all my life. This was the perfect book for me
